Nachdem Harry beim einem Picknick und Bruce bei einem Angelunfall ums Leben kamen, Glenn versehentlich mit seinem Volvo auf einem Raketentestgelände geriet und Dave auf einem Gletscher einschlief und erfror, hat Maggie Angst, daß ihre Liebe auch auf ihren fünfte Freund tödlich wirkt. Deshalb hat sie Ricks Farbenblindheit bei der Luftfahrtbehörde angezeigt. Er verliert daraufhin seinen Pilotenschein und macht Maggie schwere Vorwürfe. Sie selbst fühlt sich natürlich mies, - doch nicht lange: noch in der selben Nacht wird nämlich Rick von einem herabstürzenden Satelliten erschlagen. Die Trauerfeier wird ein einziges Desaster... Erick Hillman und Ron Bantz verhandeln mit Maurice um ein Haus, das sie zu einer Frühstückspension umbauen wollen. Als Maurice herausfindet, daß die beiden schwul sind, will er zunächst das Geschäft platzen lassen. Erst als Chris ihn darauf aufmerksam macht, daß selbst die erbarmungslosen Janitscharen homosexuelle Tendenzen aufwiesen, stimmt er dem Handel zu. Shelly ist eifersüchtig auf Hollings alte Freundin Anita, mit der er sich stundenlang über die guten, alten Zeiten unterhalten kann...
